Project Scope
Our site planners worked with the Philadelphia City School District on this $15.2 million project that consisted of 4 Athletic Supersites. The facilities were designed for competition in track, football, soccer, baseball, tennis, lacrosse and field hockey. Additionally, we worked on an accelerated design schedule by using aerial photography and overlaying various options during an intensive 2-day master planning session.
Highlights of the project include:
- 4 artificial turf fields
- Spectator seating
- 4 resilient, all-weather tracks
- Tennis courts
- Field reconstruction
- Concessions/pressbox/toilet facilities
- Field lighting
- Phased construction schedule to maximize bidding climate and maintain athletic program
