Design of Four Athletic Supersites

Project Scope
This $15.2 million project consisted of 4 Athletic Supersites for the Philadelphia City School District. The facilities were designed for competition in track, football, soccer, baseball, tennis, lacrosse and field hockey. Additionally, we worked on an accelerated design schedule by using aerial photography and over laying various options during an intensive 2-day master planning session.
Highlights of the project include:
• 4 artificial turf fields
• Spectator seating
• 4 resilient, all-weather tracks
• Tennis courts
• Field reconstruction
• Concessions/pressbox/toilet facilities
• Field lighting
• Phased construction schedule to maximize bidding climate and maintain athletic program operations
