Project Scope
We are working with Purchase College on the master plan of a new Recreation/Activities Center that will be a major hub for both student and community use. After extensive site analysis and feasibility studies of several possible locations, the building will be placed to anchor the main quad at the campus, allowing easy access to both students and the community and to strengthen the identity of the center campus. Parking will be integrated into the site not only for use at the Recreation Center, but also to serve other campus facilities within close proximity. The location of the building will create a “sense of arrival” to the main campus off the main ring road and will allow the Center to be a prominent campus facility.
