and Recreational Facilities Design

Project Scope
Desiring additional recreational
facilities for community use, the Village of Rye Brook
Parks and Recreation Department worked with our design
team to develop an athletic facilities master plan to
provide a long term approach to expansion needs. Major
design highlights included:
• Synthetic turf field
complex designed for softball, baseball,
football and soccer
• Bleacher seating
• Pedestrian walkways and parking
• Drainage design
• Significant landscape plantings for a natural
buffer
between the field complex and adjacent
neighborhood
Our project team started this project
(design through 90% construction) while at The Thomas
Group. While at HMH Site and Sports Design, we followed
through with Rye Brook to help coordinate construction
completion and continued our work with them on an athletic
field drainage project that was just completed. |
